Stell Exteriors, Inc. was founded by Teric Stell, a South Jersey contractor with over 30 years of hands-on experience in roofing, siding, gutters, and exterior renovations. As a resident of Ocean City, NJ, Teric understands the unique demands coastal homes face every day — from salt air corrosion and high winds to storm damage and moisture intrusion.

Do you provide a warranty with your work?

In addition to any manufacturer’s warranty, we provide a workmanship warranty on most of the projects we undertake. These warranties will vary depending on the scope of the work, so please call us for a free estimate to learn more.

Are you insured?

Absolutely, and you should be asking this question of anyone you are considering for your next project. Maintaining good liability insurance is very important when you want to protect your customer’s property. We take pride in the fact that we will treat your property as if it were our own, but we maintain liability and workers comp insurance just in case.

Are you a licensed contractor?

Yes, and we will be happy to provide you with our license information on our first visit, or over the phone.

Can you handle my insurance claim?

While there are certain steps that you must take without us, we are happy to guide you through the insurance claim maze and to carry as much of the burden as we are allowed. We try to make this process as simple as possible for you, so that you can get on with your life while we solve any problems your roof has.

I needed a new roof for my garage / apartment building. After the mandatory three estimates and reference checks with Gloucester and Cape May County consumer affairs departments, I picked Stell exteriors. Teric, the owner, measured my roof, and recommended a T.P.O. product for the low slopes of my roof, and a regular 25 year shingle for the steeper sections. He surveyed my kitchen area and suggested more support beams be placed in that area. He gave me a total price of two jobs, new support beams, tear off of old roof down to plywood, and the only extra ( $ 200:00 ) was the replacement of rotten wood, which could only be determined after the felt came off. Teric and crew showed up on time, were professional and courteous , and completed my job in a day and a half. His price was very competitive, but his best testimonial came from Gloucester county consumer affairs when I enquired of his company " Stell exteriors even repaired a problem that was not his fault or part of the job when a customer made a complaint. He's good in our book."

How long is my warranty?

Stell Exteriors, Inc. provides rock solid warranties on all of our products and installations. Due to the vast number of options and variables involved with every project, the warranty provided will ultimately depend upon the scope of the work to be performed. Your customer service representative will be more than happy to go over the details of your warranty when your proposal is submitted.
